Global Standard for Programme Management Comes to India
QAI Becomes First Organization to Launch Managing Successful Programmes in India, First Course In Bangalore from 23rd-27th Nov

New Delhi, November 17, 2009: The defacto standard for Programme Management in the UK, Managing Successful Programmes (MSPTM), was recently launched in India. QAI Global Institute, (www.qaiglobalinstitute.com), the training and development division of the global consulting and workforce development firm QAI, became the first organization in India to offer the certification program in India.

Managing Successful Programmes (MSPTM) represents proven programme management good practice in the successful delivery of transformational change through the application of programme management. Managing Successful Programmes is widely adopted in the public and private sectors, and developed by a consortium of over 100 organisations including from within services industries. APMG-UK,on behalf of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), UK is the official MSPTM Certification Body.

Today's organisations exist in a climate of constant and increasing change. Organisations that have learned how to transform themselves through effective leadership and strategic control are more likely to survive and prosper. Programme management is increasingly being recognised as key to enabling organisations to manage that transformation. And MSPTM is the default standard for Programme Management.

Commenting on the first certification program scheduled for 23rd to 27th Nov in Bangalore, S.Ramani, Practice Head for Project Management at QAI, commented, "Managing Successful Programmes is definitive guidance in managing inter-related projects as a co-ordinated programme of business change in order to manage risks and benefits more effectively. We are very happy to be launch the first programme in India and are sure that it will be very well received."
