The QAI is a global workforce development and consulting organization addressing the education and 'Operational Excellence' needs of information technology, information technology enabled organizations and knowledge intensive organizations.

QAI was set up in 1980 in Orlando, USA. 

QAI Global Institute undertakes research, houses the Bodies of Knowledge and administers certifications leading to workforce development. It focuses on creating robust education, services and training products addressing competency development, assessments and professional certifications to cater to the large pool of manpower requiring skills for increased employability.

QAI Global Services, the consulting division of QAI, addresses Operational Excellence. Organizations achieve operational excellence through deployment of best practices and processes in areas of process management, quality management, innovation management, project management, IT service management and others.
QAI Global Institute, the global work force development leader, is the skill building and learning solution division of QAI. It undertakes research, houses the Bodies of Knowledge and administers certifications.

It focuses on creating international education and training products to address the competence development, assessments and certifications to cater to the large pool of manpower requiring skills for increased employability.

QAI Global Institute conducts instructor led trainings (ILT), career programs, exam preparatory trainings and certifications for students, professionals and corporations, and has trained over 140,000 and certified over 38,000 professionals in over 15 countries.
